Carolyn Fahey is currently reading for a doctorate in architecture with Professor Andrew Ballantyne and Professor Jean Hillier. Her thesis entitled, “Architectural Investigations: A New Wittgensteinian Reading of Architecture” explores what it is to understand ‘architecture’ within the everyday. Carolyn also acts as editorial chair for FORUM Ejournal for Postgraduate Studies in Architecture, Planning and Landscape; she tutors undergraduate and graduate level architecture students at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne; and assists artist Wolfgang Weileder with the production drawings of his sculpture. Beyond her interests in the built environment, Carolyn has interests in philosophy, namely aesthetics, and comparative literature.
