David supports the development of motion-capture, filmmaking theory and practice, video and audio recording, animation, web-based technologies and digital media in Culture Lab and provides comprehensive technical support to all Culture Lab users.
His background in film and audio technology is complemented by wide-ranging interests including photography, literature and art and he has previously worked in a number of professional media production environments. David previously worked for ISS Television Services, where he specialised in postproduction and advanced digital editing, and The School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics, where he supported filmmaking teaching and developed distance learning tools.
